Less Is Always More

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text css_animation=”left-to-right”]What does a live experience company do when it’s hired to produce a national event with a budget better suited for a local event? The first step is not to panic. Step two is get creative. And that’s exactly what Eaglevision did when confronted with producing Omnicell’s 2014 National Field Meeting in Miami.

An award-winning provider of all-inclusive, technologically advanced automation, Omnicell gives healthcare facilities the ability to be more efficient when it comes to managing, dispensing and delivering medications and supplies. And business couldn’t be better. Not only have they been growing exponentially, they’re the leader in their field, leaving the competition in the dust.

Eaglevision knew that the theme for the meeting had to encapsulate this idea and, at the same time, energize the attendees. Clearly, Omnicell is hot and that led us to branding the general session “On Fire” and the awards ceremony “En Fuego” (in honor of the spicy Miami locale). And to ensure that no one missed that point, we opened the general session with a pyrotechnics display that looked like it spared no expense.

Once the audience was seated, the lights went down. Then the fireworks started, in the form of giant sparklers that sprayed upwards from the stage.  Then giant flames shot out from the front of the stage. That was followed by Billy Joel’s rousing hit song, “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” On the screen, images of raging flames flourished. Out of those flames, Omnicell’s President and CEO appeared. He stood his ground and then bellowed: “We’re on fire!” The crowd went wild. In fact, they were fired up.

You can see it for yourself right here (link to clip).

Calling on our 20-plus years of strategic experience, we were able to create and execute a simple, elegant theme. And it worked. We stayed on message and within our means. Had we attempted to do something more than our budget allowed, we would have surely been playing with fire.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”http://vimeo.com/86748120″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
